Alan Brochstein’s 420 Investor is the go-to community for investors to learn, explore, and profit from the marijuana companies. The main goal of 420 Investor is to provide real-time, objective information about the top marijuana companies in the market in order to help investors capitalize on cannabis.
I am very displeased with the investment strategy and the frequent whipsaw buys and sells. Down over 25% since my initial subscription several months ago and I will certainly NOT be renewing my subscription.
The Maven works his ass, off for the community !
Alan Brochstein Is the worst portfolio manager I have ever seen in my entire life. To be honest I suspect it is a huge scam going on on 420 investor website. They only have the same people and they can never keep new subscribers. If you question Alan's moves, everybody attaks you and praise and encourage him. I will never recommend to subscribe for his services and shame on marketfy for even letting for somebody like Alan representing the company.
I don't quite understand someone who is investing in the marijuana industry supporting the negative findings about marijuana use. Was this really you? Or did someone kidnap you and force you to post a negative reposnse.? We have two factions here: the people that smoked marijuana when it was illegal and now the people who will smoke it when it is legal. All the peole I know who smoked it when it was illegal are happy, law abiding citizens. We want it legalized for various reasons(it is good, it feels good, it makes you smarter...) My main reason is so my kids, who smoke it just like Dad did, don't get thrown in jail for wanting to feel better. Stop the analysis. That's why we smoke it in the first place (my apologies to those who smoke it for medincinal purposes. But it all really is the same). Legalize it now!
Brochstein looks and acts like another self-dealing stock tout and unlicensed investment advisor who typically manipulate stocks with his lemmings and should be turned in to the California Department of Business Oversight or the SEC
Way too many trades and unable to only receive specific portfolio recommended trades.
I'm having difficulty getting into and understanding the chat flow. I am looking for more specific feedback of company fundamentals..ie. what Allan emails as updates. Maybe it will get more clear as I monitor more closely...I' only a three day member.
Annoying rating notices!!
The sector has been poor for investing. The email information has been good although too many companies to commit to a trading strategy. Livedesk has been poor with technology issues and random conversations. Chats seem to be more social instead of an investors circle. I don't think that I will renew this. I will think more about it.
Too much drama. Some of it similar to Ihub. Example: "Sleek" pumps TRTC endlessly, then trashes other stocks such as MCIG. I get that for free elsewhere.
I think Alan could do a much better job of getting deeper into some of the other companies outside of TRTC (for the price of $50 monthly admission). There is however, great effort to bring you the current events in this sector on a daily basis. The sector not quite panning out at this time might be a function of the service though so theres also that. Be prepared, however, for in-fighting within the site as members have become frustrated with the lack of sector movement and an overall lack of friendliness by veterans or the maven himself.
I need more from this subscription than SEC filings, press releases, support and resistance levels, daily dab, and travel to meetings and conferences. This sector has tanked. I hold five of the so-called leaders in the sector that are down an average of 43%, and PHOT is down 73%. I am hearing nothing as to why the sector is down, and especially nothing as to the future of the sector. a little bit of direct, concrete information goes a long way.
Joined to get a perspective on the entire MJ sector from an unbiased professional. I'm invested in a ticker that has some toxic debt and while i appreciate insight from this service via my paid subscription to inform me of their toxic debt and even to stay away from buying the stock, it is for me to decide whether or not to invest and if I do, I wouldn't expect that Alan would be publicly bashing this ticker and their CEO on i-hub. Very unprofessional in my opinion and will likely result in me ending my subscription.
420 seems pretty good - but Marketfy does not provide any opportunity to immediately cancel my subscription, which is RIDICULOUS. The only method available to me was a phone number, which I called, and received a voice mail. So, although I have no complaints with 420, Alan does use this Marketfy platform and I urge him to find another host that is actually accommodating.
